Software and Methodology

We try to use the right tools for the right job, and, for the things we do, we find that this is often Python. Python is an elegant language and a great pleasure to program in, and we have been doing so for many years.

We use web platforms that are written in Python, such as Zope, Plone and Grok. We use relatation databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and object oriented databases such as ZODB or Mongo, for storing data. Of course, being a company that works a lot on the web, we know what to do with CSS, HTML and Javascript.

We prefer to use open-source software and tools wherever possible.

We like to think of ourselves as having a no-nonsense, pragmatic approach: we are oriented towards results. Our methodology can be called rapid application development: we try to integrate the planning stage as much as  possible with the development of a working prototype.
